Father, Son Hurt in Motorcycle Accident

SPLENDORA, Texas - A father and son are in the hospital after they are thrown off a motorcycle in Splendora.

Several motorcyclists were traveling westbound on FM 2090 when they drifted into oncoming traffic, according to a Texas Department of Public Safety officer.

Investigators say one of the motorcycles crashed into a sport utility vehicle that was traveling eastbound on FM 2090, which resulted in the father and son being thrown off.

The father and son were taken by helicopter to Splendora-area hospitals. Another person was taken by ambulance to an area hospital.
