Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said rookie tight end Anthony Hill had been diagnosed with the swine flu and had been hospitalized.

Hill told FOX 26 Sports he has since been released from the hospital and is resting at home.

"Doing much better now," Hill said. "I went to the hospital because I wasn't feeling well.

"In the beginning doctors thought it was pneumonia. It wasn't. Then (Thursday) results for swine flu came back and it was positive. I was already taking medicine for both.

"I left the hospital (Friday morning) and I'm back in my house."

Hill looks forward to rejoining his team.

"I really hate missing practice," Hill said. "I am anxious to get back out to practice with the team and help in any way I can."

Kubiak said the team believes Hill's case of the swine flu is an isolated case.

"Anthony Hill, who has been sick, initially we thought he had pneumonia." Kubiak said. "It has been confirmed he has a case of the swine flu. "So we have one confirmed case of swine flu on our team.

"He is doing much better (Friday). We had a few guys feeling ill (Thursday), but they all came back (Friday) doing just fine.

Kubiak said the team is taking all of the necessary precautions to make sure this doesn't because a team-wide issue.

"There's no panic at all," Kubiak said. "We handled it well as an organization."
