Barry Will Not Return to Rockets

NBA sources told FOX 26 Sports Thursday guard Brent Barry will not be back with the Houston Rockets for the upcoming season.

Barry will either be traded or he will retire with the Rockets expected in that case to buy out his contract which had one year remaining.

During the 2008-09 season Barry averaged 3.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.4 assists for Houston.

Barry has played 14 years in the NBA including five years with the Seattle Supersonicks and four years with the San Antonio Spurs.

During his career Barry has averaged 9.3 points, 3.2 assists and 3 rebounds.
