HOUSTON - An out-of-work young couple is taking their infant daughter on a 5,000 road trip, stopping at all Major League Baseball stadiums along the way.

The husband, wife and baby girl visited Minute Maid Park on Sunday.

In January 2009, Judy Pino and Roberto Coquis lost their jobs in Washington, D.C. She was preparing to give birth. After a failed job interview in Indiana, the couple decided to focus on their relationships, strengthening their family by spending quality-time enjoying baseball games at all major league stadiums and making face-to-face contact with possible employers around the U.S.

Coquis and Pino used their own money for the trip.

"We were going to spend this money no matter what; if we were at home sitting on the coach looking for a job or if we were on the road looking for a job," said Coquis.

Several baseball teams have donated items to the family. They plan to auction off the gifts and donate the proceeds to charities that benefit children and sports.
