GALVESTON, Texas - The dinosaurs may have become extinct millions of years ago, but
they are making a comeback during the summer of 2009 in Galveston.
Kuriko Hasegawa and Greg Whittaker from Moody Gardens preview
the Dinosaurs Alive! exhibit taking place from June 6 until Aug.
16. The exhibit will open daily from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Whittaker presents the Atlantic Horseshoe Crab on FOX 26
Morning News, which is not actually a crab, but is related to
prehistoric trilobites. Trilobites are found in fossilized form.
FOX 26 anchor Jose Griñan is hesitant to handle the
emperor scorpion, which can often be found in pet stores and are
from largest scorpion species,
heterometrus.
