HOUSTON - In today's economy, it can be hard to find good news.
But for one community in our area, there is a lot to look forward to.
A study by the University of Houston Hobby Center for Public Policy shows expected economic growth in Northwest Harris county will be accelerated by a huge ExxonMobil project.
The company recently confirmed plans to build a 385 acre office campus, south of The Woodlands, to consolidate the facilities of 4000 employees.
Development to support the business and the increased population is expected to be immense.
The UH study suggests the next decade will see a jump of 400,000 residents, along with double-digit growth in incomes and housing values.
