Lightning Strike Injures Child, Coach at Soccer Game

HOUSTON - A 9-year-old girl and her soccer coach were struck by lightning at a soccer game in Montgomery County
The player and 21-year-old coach were injured as a result.
The lightning came down at Farmers Road 1314 near Cumberland sometime before 8 p.m.
Paramedics were at the scene performing CPR on the soccer coach. He was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital.
The 9-year-old girl was transported to Kingwood Hospital.
