4-Year-Old Girl Shot Inside Home

HOUSTON - A 4-year-old girl is in the hospital after being shot in her East Harris County home Tuesday afternoon.
When Harris County Deputies arrived, the child’s step father told them three black males kicked in the back door and fired into the home in the 13500 block of Castilian.
One of the bullets struck the child, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspects’ description was forwarded to other deputies. Later, a patrol unit spotted the suspects’ vehicle at Freeport and Woodforest Drive.
The deputy took all three suspects into custody.
The child was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. She is listed in stable condition.
