City of Houston Sends Out Boil Water Notice

HOUSTON - Changes to Houston's water system has prompted a boil water notification to Houston residents.

An unexpected drop in the PSI pressure in the water system will affect residents living in the 77336 and 77532 zip codes.

It is unknown exactly what effects have been caused by the pressure drop.

The City of Houston is urging residents to boil their water before consumption in order to destroy all harmful bacteria and microbes.

If you cannot boil your water, it is recommended you buy bottle water or obtain water from a suitable source as a substitute.
