HOUSTON - FBI detectives are searching for an armed robber who hit a Kingwood bank Tuesday morning.
The man had entered a credit union in the 1000 block of Kingwood Drive around 11: 20 a.m. Tuesday
asked a teller about withdrawing cash from his account, according to a Houston FBI Bank Robbery Task Force statement. The suspect then pulled out a silver pistol and pointed it at the teller, demanding money.
The man took the cash and fled the bank on foot, heading into a residential neighborhood, according to the statement.
No one was injured during the robbery, according to the statement.
The suspect, who's been dubbed the "Pistol-Packing Bandit," is described as a thin white male between the ages of 30 and 35 and is about 6 feet tall, according to the statement. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, blue jeans and a white cap.
