Man Sought in Double Shooting

HOUSTON - Houston police are searching for a man accused of shooting two people, killing one, during an argument last month.

On Feb. 13, Selvin Omar Lopez had gotten into an argument with Joseph Vasquez and another victim at an apartment complex in the 1300 block of Witte Road, according to a Crime Stoppers statement.

The argument escalated, and Lopez allegedly pulled out a gun and shot both Vasquez and the other person, according to the statement.

Both victims were transported to a local hospital, where Vasquez died, according to the statement. The other victim is still recovering from injuries.
