Possible Arson in Vacant Restaurant Site Fire

Houston - Two fire departments arrive to the site of a converted east Harris County restaurant in flames and investigators say the fire appears to be a case of arson.

Firefighters from Channelview and Sheldon found heavy smoke and flames coming from the one-story house that was used as a restaurant site. The business was no longer operating and the building was for sale.

Neighbors had complained to police that at least two people had been seen entering the boarded-up house.

No one was hurt in the fire but arson investigators are trying to determine its cause.
