Counselors will be at Reagan High School on Monday morning to help students and faculty deal with grief over the mysterious death of a Spanish teacher.

Heladio Perales, 35, was reported missing by his family on the morning of Thanksgiving Thursday and found stabbed to death in the back of his truck.

Police say a crime scene in Wharton may be connected to the murder.

Galena Park police and the Texas Rangers are looking for three persons of interest.

Authorities are searching for three suspects after the body of a 35-year-old missing Houston teacher was found in his abandoned SUV which had been towed to a police impound lot.

A Houston newspaper report says that officials believe Perales may have been killed at a friend's Wharton home last weekend, then dumped with his vehicle in a rural section of Fort Bend County.

Galena Park Police Department Chief Robert Pruett says Perales' family reported him missing at 4 a.m. Thursday.

A landowner contacted Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday about the abandoned vehicle which was towed Thursday morning.

The truck had been towed from Needville to Galena Park, where Perales lived.

A supervisor then discovered the body.
