HOUSTON - Conroe ISD students are being warned against strangers after a man exposed himself to an eighth grader and another asked a ninth grader if she needed a ride home during two separate incidents this week.
District officials say an eighth grader was on a bike path in The Woodlands Friday morning when a man in his mid 20's exposed himself to her while he was jogging. The man passed her but turned around and jogged past her again.
On Wednesday, a Caney Creek High School ninth grader was approached by a man who offered her a ride to her home after she got off the school bus.
Neither student was injured during the incidents, but school administrators wanted parents to remind their kids about stranger safety.
The district is encouraging all other students to report any incidents that may make them feel unsafe.
