Woman Dies in Suspected DWI Crash

Deputies believe a woman was drunk when she flew through a red light and slammed into a pole in northwest Harris County.
She was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident happened just before midnight Thursday as she drove south on Raven Drive near the town of Cypress.
The woman's husband heard the crash from their home and told investigators at the scene she was going to get beer when the crash occurred.
