Teen Shot in Head at Apartment Complex

HOUSTON - A teen is in critical condition after he was shot in the head at an apartment complex in the Mission Bend subdivision.

Harris County Sheriff's deputies arrived to the intersection of Pavilion Point and State Highway 6 at approximately 12:30 a.m. Monday.

The 16-year-old boy was taken by LifeFlight to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition.

Witnesses told investigators that a large group of up to 20 males approached the teen and started arguing with him before the shooting took place.

Investigators are trying to determine the motive for the shooting.
