Mother Told Where to Find Son's Body

HOUSTON - A young man is found dead in an east Harris County ditch by his mother after she is told in a phone call where to find him.

The 26-year-old son left his home at approximately 2 a.m. Wednesday and told his mother that he was traveling to Baytown with a person she did not recognize.

Thirty minutes after the man and unknown acquaintance left in a Chevrolet Astro van, the mother was called by an unknown female and told that her son was dead and where she could find him.

The mother found the man's body at the 13700 block of Duncum Street. Harris County Sheriff's investigators arrived to where the body was found after she called 911.
