2 Men Allegedly Assault Teen in Van

HOUSTON - Investigators are searching for two men a 13-year-old girl claimed to have dragged her into the back of a van and sexually assaulted her.

On June 11, the girl was walking her dog on a street in the Lakes of Bellaire subdivision in southwest Houston when the driver of a white cargo-type van pulled up near her, deputies said.

Two men inside the van tried to talk the girl into going inside the van, but she walked away, deputies said. That's when the van parked and one of the men got out, grabbed the teen by the arm and dragged her into the back compartment of the van.

During the assault, the girl kicked on the suspects in his groins and hit the other man in the eye with her hand, deputies said. The teen was able to break free and run home.

The men then fled area in the van, deputies said.
