HOUSTON - Detectives are searching for three men they say are responsible in the armed robberies of two northwest Harris County stores in one night.

On May 31, the three suspects first targeted a store in the 11600 block of North Houston Rosslyn, according to a Crime Stoppers statement. Two of the men entered the store while the third stood by the door.

One of the suspects then went behind the counter and stole the cash drawer from the clerk at gunpoint, according to the statement. Then the suspects fled the store together in a silver-colored PT Cruiser.

About an hour later, the same three suspects hit the a store in the 22000 block of Tomball Parkway, according to the statement. One of the suspects entered the store and took the cash drawer as one other suspect stood by the door.

The men then left the scene in a PT Cruiser with the same description as the getaway vehicle in the previous robbery, according to the statement.

The suspects in both robberies were described as black men in their early 20's, according to the statement.

Two wore dark shirts and blue jeans, and one had a white bandana, and the other a red bandana, according to the statement. The third suspect wore red shorts, a white tee shirt, and a red ball cap.

The suspects fled with an undetermined amount of cash in each robbery, according to the statement.
