Man Finds Brother's Body in Mom's SUV

Police are on the hunt for a killer in Missouri City.

The body of 27-year old Jason Kallingakudiyil was discovered in his mother's SUV, on the property where the family's dream house is being built.

"When I drove back toward the property," said the victim's brother Justin, "I saw my mom's (Lincoln) Aviator back there so I decided since I saw it there, park the car at the front and I ran back there and I ended up finding him."

Kallingakudiyil had been shot in the head, according to investigators, who are hoping for some help solving Missouri City's first homicide of 2009.

"Some of our best resources are our citizens," said Det. Russell Terry. "They can call the Missouri City Police and let us know what happened."
