It is never too late to learn new things, but getting an early start at it is not such a bad idea. For that reason, some children are developing into budding music virtuosos at the Motherhood Center in Houston.

Mothers are flocking to a music class for infants as a way of Building Better Minds.

Dr. Ana Trevino-Godfrey's voice is a treat for all ages. She is a classically-trained professional soloist for Mercury Baroque and she leads the Prelude music class for mothers and babies at the Motherhood Center.

Trevino-Godfrey's passion is bringing music to young lives when they are the most receptive to it.

These babies learn basic music skills like holding a rhythm and carrying a tune, but it is not just music.

Each class sneaks in additional developmental skills like coordination, emotion and language.

The Prelude music classes march on for 15 classes each week at the Motherhood Center building stronger family bonds and Building Better Minds.
