Anatomy of a Credit Card Lawsuit

HOUSTON - As the holidays approach, everyone should be prepared for potential credit card debt and the worst case scenario it could bring.
Attorney John Mastriani, who helps clients who are struggling to pay off their debt, explains on FOX 26 Morning News the anatomy of a credit card lawsuit.
Mastriani says when the creditor files a lawsuit, the account holder should contact the court for information since he or she has limited time to respond.
Creditors may file a motion for a summary judgement.
Mastriani says account holders should seek legal advice before a lawsuit is pending.
