HOUSTON - As more and more homeowners face the possibility of losing their home to foreclosure, many are turning to programs to help modify their loan.
But sometimes those programs offer false hope and do more harm than good.
FOX 26 reporter Emily Akin listened to one woman's horror story.
She was in tears when she called and after Akin listened to her, she said she understood why.
