HOUSTON - No sooner was Eva Bradford's two-year old RCA TV out of warranty, then it went on the fritz.
" It turns off by it self and it cuts back on by it self.
Volume goes up by itself and it goes down by itself," Bradford explained.
Bradford called the store where she bought it. She says mangers told her to contact RCA. She says RCA didn't help much either.
Since Bradford is on disability and doesn't drive, she missed her TV.
The only one she had that was working was in her bedroom.
"If I have company we all have to sit around on my bed and watch that little TV."
She found a TV repair service nearby that had a good rating with The BBB. The repairman said he offered pickup and delivery.
" I said Oh great and I was excited because I'm fixing to get my TV."
That was October 5th. Four months passed. The repair man kept saying he was waiting for parts. Frustrated, she called Take it to Akin.
She says after Emily Akin contacted the repairman, he was at her door within the hour.
Although she's relieved to have her TV back, it still doesn't work. So Bradford has one more question.
"Do you know anyone who pick up and deliver and repair TV? I want my TV fixed?"
