Apollo Astronaut: 'Alien Evidence Exists'

HOUSTON - For hundreds of years there's been countless UFO sightings all over the world -- just enough to make people wonder. Now, Apollo astronaut Edgar Mitchell is offering his controversial opinion.

"There's not much question at all there's life throughout the universe, we're not alone in the universe at all," he said.

The sixth man to walk on the moon says the U.S. Government is concealing evidence of aliens.

"It's not a matter of belief, it's a matter of evidence," said Derrel Sims, a Houston-area Alien expert.

Sims, the author of "Alien Hunters," has been researching the alien phenomenon for nearly forty years.

"To me, the evidence is overwhelming, the problem is people don't know what to look for," he said.

NASA says there is no cover-up.

"NASA releases everything we find to the public. We're not hiding any information on the subject of aliens. Nobody's looking harder than us to find other signs of life," said NASA spokesperson James Hartfield.
