PORTLAND, Ore. - Houston Rockets star Ron Artest enjoys giving back to the community, even when he's not in Houston.
Although he has his hands full getting ready for game two against Portland, he took a moment to speak to 150 kids at a boys and girls club on Monday.
Artest talked about the importance of putting education first.
In an interview with FOX 26 Sports, he said he wants to make sure kids have their priorities in the right order.
"Maybe they go home and take something from it," said Artest. "Maybe they'll say 'I gotta do better in school.'"
