Man Survives 200ft Fall Trying to Save Dog
The 53-year-old man, who has not been named, fell down Little Cliff, near Cloughton, in North Yorkshire, on Monday. Police said it was "absolutely remarkable" that he survived with only a broken leg and wrist. Flight Sgt Rick Jones, who piloted the rescue helicopter, said: “We got a call from the coastguard about a gentleman who had apparently gone over the cliff looking for his dog. “Where the gentleman fell is about 200ft high, so we were obviously fearing the worst.
