Sony is cracking down on those who "break" into their PlayStation boxes to make unauthorized modifications. A free over-the-internet patch aims to stop gamers from making the software modifications. It also includes improved security features and fixes.

Google TV in Fall 2010
It's official: Google TV will be available sometime this fall. It's a software platform that will come pre-installed on some new televisions. It's also expected to be available as a set-top box you can hook up to your existing TV. Google TV lets you search for the TV shows and videos you want to watch, and it lets you easily watch video from the web right on your TV (instead of going to your computer every time you want to show friends a funny YouTube clip.)
