Microsoft Rebirthing Flight Simulator Series
Microsoft is giving new life to its Flight Simulator series that ended in early 2009. They released a video trailer of the next installment, showing off the enhanced graphics (with ultra realistic looking oceans). The new series drops the “simulator” title and will simply be called “Microsoft Flight.” No word on when it will be released. Watch the trailer: http://www.microsoft.com/games/flight/

Nikon’s Projector Camera Improved
Nikon has improved its projector camera. The Coolpix S1000pj takes 14 megapixel photos and can record video. The best part – it has a projector built right into it, letting you show images on walls up to seven feet away. Nikon says the newest model is 40 percent brighter than the first one released in 2009. The new model also lets you show images uploaded from a computer (instead of ones just shot with the camera). It goes on sale in September for $350. Back-to-School Downloads for Google Chrome
It’s a list of 10+ downloads for the Google Chrome web browser that will help you with your back-to-school needs. Downloadsquad.com put out the list and features programs like Ever Note, which lets you clip text and photos right off a page – letting you easily save them for notes. There’s also “Stay Focused,” where students can choose to ban certain websites for a certain amount of time, so they won’t be tempted to surf Facebook when they should be studying!
