COPD Often Not Diagnosed

A common cause of death in the U.S. is Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, known as COPD, but a lot of people may not be familiar with it.

Doctor Nicola Hanania, associate professor with the Baylor College of Medicine, explains on FOX 26 Morning News what COPD is and what its symptoms are.

The symptoms of COPD are similar to those of asthma and for that reason, almost 12 million cases of the disease are not diagnosed.
