HOUSTON - A new season and new school year means a new hair style for every member of the family.
Brad Pitt and Jude Law show that short hair with a slightly messy look appear to be trendy among men.
Trendy hair styles for women seem to run the gamut with no one style dominating the 2010s. There seems to be a tug of war between long and short hair for women as well as curly and straight.
Gity, the founder of Salon Gity, analyzes the hair style trends for men and women on FOX 26 Morning News Extra.
Children tend to follow the lead of young entertainers including Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and the Jonas Brothers. Justin Bieber is the runaway musical trendsetter, but his hairstyle is reminiscent of the Beatles 'mop top' of the 1960s.
