HOUSTON - The 16th Houston SPCA Annual Pet Telethon helped raise more than $300,000 and helped place almost 250 animals into forever homes.
FOX 26 Morning News meteorologist Kristi Powers and traffic anchor Michelle Merhar were among the television news and radio personalities who took part in the telethon on Aug. 28. The event was streamed live on the Houston SPCA website.
