Varicose Veins Visibly Problematic

HOUSTON - Millions of Americans live with varicose veins, which for some people is embarrassing and painful. So many people spend a lot of money to get rid of them, if only temporarily.

Dr. David Shin, medical director of the Vascular Center of Houston, performs a new procedure for the problem and explains it on FOX 26 Morning News.

Varicose veins can be much more than a cosmetic problem and Shen explains how to prevent the problem from getting serious and what early signs to be aware of.

According to Shin, varicose veins can cause blood clots than can affect lung function.
