HOUSTON - Do you have trouble getting little Timmy to clean up his room?
Well, there is no need to fear; Pat Cascio has her version of
"Nanny 911" advice. She is the founder and owner of Morningside
Nannies in Houston.
Cascio says she has access to some of the best caretakers in
the business who know a thing or two about getting children to
follow rules.
To get a child to perform his or her chores, Cascio
recommends the following:
1. Parents have to set a good example since children learn by
example.
2. Make chores a fun daily routine.
3. Reward good behavior and "extra" jobs.
Cascio recommends that parents creatively incorporate their
children into the following household duties:
-- Laundry
-- Meal time
-- Grocery shopping
-- Garbage removal
-- Cleaning the bathrooms
-- Yard work
-- Pet care
