With Congress out of session a grassroots efforts appears to be underway to disrupt congressional town hall meetings all over the USA.
On Monday night, Congressman Gene Green held a community meeting in North Houston to discuss the presidents proposed health care plan.
It was disrupted multiple times by people who angrily questioned and interrupted the U.S representative.
Websites like
www.houstontps.org and lonestartimes.com are encouraging conservative Americans to attend congressional town hall meetings to let them know your feelings passionately, but respectfully.
People are going to have disagreements, but we can also be civil in doing that, Congressman Green told FOX 26's Duarte Geraldino in an on camera interview.
Before the Congressman could finish his thoughts an attendee jumped behind him and started making what other attendees described as rude gestures (click on the video link to see it for yourself).
Congressman Green plans to have several more town hall meetings during this congressional recess. The house reconvenes in early September.
