Kristy is from Simonton, Texas (about 30 miles west of Houston). She recently struggled with severe arthritis, was in excruciating chronic physical pain, and battled to manage her weight. Her hands were curled like the claws of a bird.

Unable to move her hand freely, the agonizing pain in her neck made it nearly impossible to hold up her head, and she could barely walk. The 45-year-old wondered, "Where was hope"?

She was more than 100 pounds overweight. Over the past five years, she had sought the expertise of several orthopedic doctors and underwent MRI and CAT scans, only to find negative results.

Kristy underwent the ALCAT food allergy blood test at the Natural Health Center on November 28, 2007. The ALCAT measures more than 100-foods, food additives and preservatives, and shows which of these the patient's body reacts negatively.

The patient receives a comprehensive list of which foods are okay and which ones to avoid, either temporarily or permanently. One substance that was a poison to Kristy's system surprised both her and her doctor.

"Iced- tea: plain old tea," she says. "I drank from a half-a-gallon to one gallon a day for 45 years, she recalls. "This healthy thing that's supposed to be good for everybody is not (good for everybody)."

It was her love, her daily comfort drink, and the most difficult substance to eliminate from her diet. Begging the question, "I'd ask about green teas or other teas, and he [Dr. Jason] said only herbal teas. It was like drinking buttermilk to me. Herbal tea has nothing to do with tea!"

So, to appease her appetite, Kristy found some healthy, enjoyable alternatives of "peppermint tea. And there's a peach tea." Modifying her intake to a cup 2-3 times a week, Kristy was able to make the concession, "but it's far from a gallon a day."

In her next appointment one week later, Kristy, feeling a little better, had noticed that the swelling was down in her hips, and the arthritis was gone.

Along with the absence of pain, the pounds began to melt away. In that first week, Kristy lost 8-10 pounds. The month afterward, she lost another 12.

"I had to focus on the little things I knew. I had to move in small increments. I weighed myself every day. That was a gauge for me to see that I was making progress."

After a few months, her weight loss began tapering off, losing between 6 to 10 pounds every four weeks.

Once Kristy changed her eating habits, Dr. Jason put her on an exercise regime. She has lost 69 pounds, something, she said, that would surely surprise the doctor who wanted to fuse her vertebrae.

Along with her faith, Kristy's family has been the solid support she needs. Married for 25 years, she reflects, "My husband is my hero. My children both saw me through the hardest of times…and their loving me when I was the ugliest-there are volumes to be said for that."

====================================================

Annette was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1975. In the early 80's, she started experiencing partial paralysis episodes in the evening where she was unable to get up out of my chair and walk on my own. During this time, her husband would have to help her out of her chair and lead her to bed. It was as if I was drunk but I do not drink. Turning over in bed was nearly impossible to do.

In June of 2006, she fainted in the kitchen, and when she came to, she was totally paralyzed and numb on her left side. Her Neurologist decided there was something going on and prescribed injections for her symptoms of MS.

After those shots, she would start having chills and fever by the next day. For the four months that followed after initiating this treatment I had flu like symptoms, but eventually they went away.

However, about 6 months later, these symptoms returned with a vengeance. I questioned my doctor asking why my, despite this treatment, my partial paralysis had not gone away. He said, "We were not worried about the little stuff."

On August 1st, 2008, I made the decision to stop taking the prescription injections. She She went to the Natural Heatlh Center and she found out that she had "inflammatory markers" in her blood that could be due to food allergies.

So, she decided to undergo the ALCAt test, because food allergies or sensitivites can often negatively affect the nervous system.

She had multiple food sensitivities to some very common foods, and says she faithfully stuck to the suggested plan of avoiding these foods. Almost a month had passed.

Then on Nov. 18, the night before returning to her follow up appointment, she asked her husband when was the last time he had to help me to bed. Se says he could not believe she hadn't had one of her spells since Oct.13.

These spells had been going on for over 25 years.

Annette says since identifying what foods are harmful to her body through ALCAT testing, her whole life has changed dramatically. Before this time, she says her energy was nonexistent.

Her husband says it is like being married to someone else's wife. She

says The Lord has really blessed her.
