The world's longest film, which took 30 years to make and runs 150 hours, will be screened in France.

" Cinematon " features 3-minute, 25-second vignettes of celebrities, artists, journalists and friends of director Gerard Courant just being themselves, according to the Telegraph . Actors Roberto Benigni and Samuel Fuller and film director Ken Loach are among the famous faces who make appearances.

Courant began filming in 1978 and only intended on having 100 vignettes, but he said they were so popular he kept going. Among his favorite scenes is of a 7-month-old baby. "It shows the whole spectrum of human emotion in less than four minutes," Courant told the Telegraph.

The Mirror reports that the film is completely silent, calling it the "dullest film ever made."

"Some do absolutely nothing, including the actress Nicoletta Braschi who sits 'like a statue,'" the Mirror writes.

Wikipedia lists the longest cinematic films by running time . At the top of the list is "Berlin Alexanderplatz," which runs 15 hours.
