Kristin Kane

Kristin is thrilled to be a member of the FOX 26 family and she is looking forward to getting out into the community and meeting some of you.

Kristin is originally from Bloomfield Hills, MI and graduated from Columbia University in NYC. While going to college in the city she started interning at CBS and WCBS. During her senior year, WCBS hired her to work behind the scenes and after graduating Kristin took on a second job as an associate producer at News12 Westchester. No sleep, little social life, but so worth it!

Soon after, Kristin headed to Erie, PA to get in front of the camera. At WICU/WSEE she did everything from reporting and anchoring to weather forecasting and producing. After a year and a half in Erie she moved to South Florida where she once again did everything... live reporting, anchoring, hosting and weather forecasting for WSFL's "The Morning Show" in Miami/Fort Lauderdale. Next stop-Houston!

Kristin truly loves what she does and really enjoys being in a newsroom, the studio or out live! In her free time she hits the gym, travels, catches up on tv and the latest movies and gets out into the community to explore. And of course she always likes spending time with family & friends, especially her little Chihuahua/Pug-Chiquita!
