Doug Delony "My Tech Guy"

Doug Delony got his on-air start as "My Tech Guy" in September 2006, answering viewers' tech questions.

He currently provides on-air reports every weekday FOX 26 Morning News. You can catch him just before 7 a.m. as he features the day's tech headlines and just before 6 a.m. on Wednesdays for his helpful "My Tech Guy" segment. In addition, Doug offers a daily fun or useful website during FOX 26 Morning News Extra at 9 a.m.

Doug started his career at FOX 26 News as an assignment editor, helping track down stories and interviews for FOX 26 News at Nine. In addition to his on-air duties, he currently serves as the senior web producer for KRIV. There, he continues to write and produce content for the official websites of KRIV FOX 26 (www.MyFoxHouston.com) and KTXH My20 (www.My20Houston.com).

Prior to working at FOX, Doug worked next to Dan Rather as a production assistant for the CBS Evening News during coverage of the Space Shuttle Columbia tragedy. Doug also served as a production assistant for Access Hollywood, American Idol, and Extreme Makeover.

Born and raised in Houston, Doug graduated cum laude from Texas Southern University with bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism. Before college, Doug graduated from the Hightower High School Media Academy . During his time at Hightower, Doug won a Telly Award for a video essay he produced covering the September 11th terrorist attacks.
